A little bit about us

At Bromley Healthcare, we are an award-winning social enterprise working with the NHS, delivering a wide range of community healthcare services to people of all ages in Bromley and its neighbouring boroughs. We provide a wide range of nursing, medical and therapy services for adults and children. These include District Nursing, Health Visiting, Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. 98% of the people who use our services would recommend our services to their friends and family.

Our mission is to support our service users so they are able to enjoy and maintain their life in the comfort of their home and to respect their personal space, promote their independence and be considerate of every service user's experience, culture, heritage and beliefs.

Domiciliary care is a type of care which allows you, or a loved one, to receive care in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to remain independent. Our fully trained care professionals will come to visit you on a regular basis to provide you with the best possible level of support, assisting you in every aspect of your life - from personal care to household tasks and food preparation.

Unlike care homes, domiciliary care is provided in the comfort of your own home, eliminating the stress associated with moving. At home you can keep all your possessions around you, keep your pets, your friends and family can visit you without restrictions and your care plan is built to suit your budget and timetable.

Yes, all of our care professionals undergo a rigorous recruitment and training programme before starting with Bromley Healthcare Care at Home. We only recruit care professionals who are committed to their work and share our company values.

During the initial assessment, our supervisor will agree a 'Care Plan' with you which will detail the tasks you would like us to do on a regular basis. However, if your care needs change over a period of time, we will be happy to revisit the 'Care Plan' and make the relevant changes as requested.

Yes, we will ensure that the care professionals work within the regulatory and legal framework of Health and Social Care. Please let us know during the initial assessment your requirements and we will let you know if the requested tasks cannot be done by the care professionals. This is to ensure that the provision of services is not a risk for yourself and our staff.

We value continuity and understand the importance of providing consistency of care. We do try to keep the number of your care professionals to an absolute minimum.

All our care professionals are equipped with a mobile phone and use the Electronic Call Monitoring System to login and logout of a call. There will be an electronic tag in your file which will be used to login when they arrive and logout just before they leave. These times are monitored by the office staff to ensure that care professionals stay the relevant duration as agreed in the care plan.

Before joining the company, all staff members have been through a rigorous vetting procedure which includes an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and obtaining work references from their past work experience where applicable.

In addition, all staff will always be in the company uniform i.e. our purple tunics or polo shirts with the company logo and have an ID badge on display. Our organisation was previously known as Link Care Nursing Agency and is now Bromley Healthcare Care at Home.

All staff are also provided with personal protective equipment to include gloves, aprons and sanitizing gel to ensure effective infection control.

In their most recent visit, the CQC rated our service as 'Good' and reported that 'People said staff were caring and their privacy and dignity was maintained'.

We will send you an invoice once every four weeks, the invoice can be posted or emailed at your request. You can make the payment by sending us a cheque or make transfers via internet banking into the designated company bank account, details of which can be found on the invoice. We want you to be happy with the service you receive from us, but we know that every so often something might go wrong. We want to hear from all our clients as much as possible, whether the feedback is good or bad so that we can act on it as a team. We take client satisfaction seriously and we need this feedback to know when we are doing a good job and when we need to work on something.
